Important Information

Fuel

Either VP MS93 or on-site Sunoco 90 Octane Ethanol-Free fuel is permitted.

Fuel station location: 9001 East US Hwy 377, Cresson, TX 76035.


Tires

  • Rotax and Briggs LO206: Evinco SK-H2
  • Tillotson: MAXXIS T4 2025
  • 125 MAX DD2 and FZ125 Evinco SK-H2


To ensure efficient event timing and reasonable conclusion, classes with comparable lap times may be combined as necessary. Example: DD2 (any legal) and FZ125 will be scored separately but race together using a staggered spacing at the start. CIK Start light will be utilized for all classes.

Awards

  • TKL Custom House Brand Awards (why? because racers are tired of boring trophies!)
  • Championship Raffle Items - each entry will receive one ticket, the higher you place the more tickets you gain
  • During the podiums at Round 5 winners will be randomly picked from the tickets
  • We are working on a Factory Kart chassis, engines, and more. Giving racers more than one item to try and win.
  • You have to race to gain tickets, must be present or have someone present to win.
  • We might use the registration system to track tickets and then use a lottery program to help pick. We will randomly ask your opinion during Rd1 to see what you like best.

RMC Texas Championship Incentive

Winners of the RMC Texas Championship receive a fully paid entry to the Rotax US Finals (including entry fee, tires, and oil).


Tire Policy

  • All classes may use scrubbed tires for Friday practice.
  • Rotax MAX: New Evinco SKH2 tires are required starting from qualifying.
  • Briggs LO206: New tires are optional (Evinco SKH2 Blue).
  • All tires will be scanned at the scales following qualifying to lock in the set for the weekend.
  • Rotax racers not competing on Saturday must scrub their race tires during Sunday warm-up and have them scanned at that time.

What Is Included with Each Event Entry?

$200.00 per entry (all classes)

  • Saturday: 2 rounds of practice, qualifying, and Heat Race 1 & 2
  • Sunday: Warm-up, Pre-Final, and Final
  • Grid is set using a super heat format (Heat 1 + 2 + PF is worth double points to set the Final) Bonus points for fast lap in each non-practice session.
  • Driver pit pass included

Penalty Scheme

  • Briggs LO206 / FZ & DD2 / Tillotson: All penalties reduced by 50% (e.g., a 10-position penalty becomes 5 positions).
  • Rotax: Full penalties apply - matching the main US series.

In the absence of specific rules in the Rotax Sporting Regulations, the prevailing NKA rulebook will govern.

  • Main Schedule: will be posted 2-weeks in advance and classes combined where needed based on entry count.
  • Tire Sales: Closed 10 days prior to the event (April 1, 2026).
